PS4 Around the World

Well, I have been quite remiss in getting at this blog over the past week.  I think I am falling prey to a form of “Botswana” time.

Anyway, to say how small the world is can be answered in the words PS4.

Thursday night, just before supper I was talking to the tenant outside the “cottage”.  He is a policeman back getting further training in college.  His 12-year old son was standing beside him.  The 1st semester of the school year had just ended that morning.

The father was mentioning how he had to take and hide his son’s PS4 console during the term because if he does not, the boy will not focus on his school work and his grades drop!!

Where have I heard or spoken that comment?

Whether it be Trenton or Thamaga, two communities on both sides of the equator, the lure of computer gaming is rampant.

Then, this afternoon, as we were returning home after our donkey accident, the boy next door, his brother and friend invited Gordon into the house to play FIFA 2019.

Not an old version; 2019!

For the next 3 hours I heard the intermittent screaming as they played each other and lived and died with their shots and saves.

It is a small world after all!
